.Cupcake Madness.

A few weeks ago my roommate came up to me and said that she wanted to start back up the bible study we once were apart of. After a quarter break she felt that our little College Family needed to come back together and grow in God more. At the first meeting her and I decided that we would make a sweet treat for everyone. "Lets make awesome cupcakes!" I yelled as she walked in the door that tuesday afternoon, "OKAY!!!! LETS!!!!" She yelled back. After about an hour of searching we decided on the amazing cupcakes we were going to make. A fun little lollipop with candy wedges and green sprinkles, to make a cupcake look like a tulip growing in the yard. We had tons of fun making them, we knew that these would bring us great joy when we started, but who knew how much excitement a cupcake could bring until we were all finished. I have to say after finishing them all we talked like we were talking to babies. About how cute they were, and how awesome they were going to be for everyone, basically we fell in love with these flower cupcakes. We were excited for everyone to come over and consume them. We had an idea that they would like them, but we had no idea how excited they would be for them too! Everyone enjoyed them just as much as we did, and they basically got a kick out of the fact that we actually made them. We explained that we had to do something spring like and thats why they were getting flower cupcakes tonight. After everyone left and we were cleaning up it was then we decided that we would be making amazing cupcakes every week. I mean the bible study is out our house, we love making them, and people enjoyed them....so why not right? The following week it was raining ugly, so in light of the weather we decided that we would make amazing rainy day cupcakes. With airheads and food gel we made the best umbrella cupcakes one ever did see. These so far have been my favorite. Everyone got just as excited as the last time and loved them all over again. We had a great laugh when one of the guys managed to get the dye all over his lips then down his face, with everyone on the floor laughing and pretty much in tears it basically was the best moment of the night. As the next week rolled arounf people that attended our bible study, even those who just see the creations on facebook, were telling us that they were excited to see our next creation. Unfortantly my roommate had to work so I got the help from one of my best friends. Candy corn sunflowers anyone? Becuase sunflowers are my favorite and it is still spring we had to do them! They too turned out great and brought many smiling faces. When we first started we thought it would be difficult to come up with new ideas and accomplish them, but they haven't been all that hard to make, and its been a blast every time. One would be surprised just how easy it is to make flower cupcakes....3 steps and you've got colorful tulips! I've seriously enjoyed making the cupcakes so far. Its a kick hearing the questions of whats to come, and watching everyone come in and go straight to the kitchen so they can see what kind we made this week. Its fun to hear the questions and ideas everyone gives or ask us. Its also a great bonding exprience with my roommate and friends to just be able to make them and share them. This is just a little tradition that I will always remember once out of school, and that I hope the other coming do too. Fun cupcakes every tuesday make my life.

Until next time

*Birthday Wishes*

Well Spring Break has ended, and did it end with a bang! Went to an amazing concert with some of my closest friends. It was a blast. Spent most of the day with them laugh, teasing, and just enjoying each others company. Matthew, Kambra, Paul, Alyssa, and I enjoyed leaving church on Sunday and heading out together. Girl talk in one car, and guy talk in the other, though I think that the guys enjoyed sending RUDE texts to us more than anything lol. Before heading out we stopped by my dad's shop and enjoyed the nice tour of the new building that is currently being built. Its going to be huge and boy is it amazing! Even though the walls aren't all the way up we had to make sure we walked through the hallways and entered through the door ways....at least where they would be, it was funny. It was a lot of fun hanging out with Kam and Lys on the way to Cheney, gave us sometime to catch up and just have some good old fashion girl talk. I love my girls so much and had lots of fun with them. When we hit ritzville we had some lunch and headed off to my house. It was a quick potty break, change, and off to the concert when we hit my house though. We stood in line for two and a half hours and before we walked in it started POURING rain! It was cold and rainy and we just huddled up to the best of our ability and enjoyed the moment. The concert was amazing! Did some dancing and shouting and had many great laughs. Afterwards we meet up with Ned, Cori, and Nichole and went to Dennys, of course good food and good friends you can't go wrong. Sunday was such a great day and seriously was the best way to end spring break!

Yesterday was my birthday. LOVED the fact that all my roommates stayed up to make sure they were the first ones to wish me a happy birthday, took a couple of pictures and went to bed. Also enjoyed a nice phone call from my little brother....who waited until exactly 12:01 to wish me happy birthday. haha it was totally great. Went to class and expected just to come home and have a normal realizing day for my birthday, but to my surprise when I opened my garage I seen to pairs of feets dancing....as the garage opened more out ran Paul and Alyssa who came up from tri-cities to surprise me. Totally rocked my life. Of course everyone would know about, and of course they would just go along with me complaining about Alyssa not being in Cheney for my birthday! So rotten....but so great! haha Hung out with them and planned a birthday dinner for later that night. Had a group get together and meet at chilis...yes its a new favorite I believe. When we arrived we had to pay for parking, it ended up eating 5 dollars and never giving us a ticket for our spot...so we just left it and prayed Alyssa's car wouldn't get towed...that would have been not good. After dinner we all came to my house for board games and just some hang out time. And OH my lanta was it fun. Played apples to apples...a favorite of mine...with our group it was probably one of the best times ever. Then after finishing that up we played Last Word...now this game was new to me and we had about four people trying to explain it kinda confusing but the point got across and we started the game. If you have not played this game YOU NEED TO! haha With all the shouting and fighting (not real fighting but ya) it is sooooo great! As the game went on we got louder and louder and seemed to fight more and more, but man were we laughing so so hard. I seriously love this game, pretty sure its a new favorite and I plan on getting this game and playing it as often as possible! haha Basically had the best birthday, had a lot of people making it extra special and that meant a lot to me. I love my little college family so much and enjoyed spending my 22nd birthday with them. =)

*Time*

What a busy couple of days! Goodness, there has been a lot going on and it feels like there hasn't been much time to rest....is it really spring break? haha Between sick babies, running errands, and unexpected visitors I've barely have had time to set down...but of course this is life for me when I am home, can't say I'd change it. Yesterday was a full day, worked in the daycare and ended up staying inside all day long because of the massive wind! Thats one thing that you can expect here...the wind in the spring. And when I say wind I don't mean a nice slight breeze...I mean a hard core, blow the house down, kinda wind. It was fun though, we ended up playing on the wii, got the kids into playing Mario Cart...of course they thought I was some kind of master...little do they know is that this game has been around far before they were ever born...well....most of them haha. Gotta say though the original is the best ever, the new is pretty stellar! I would recommend that EVERYONE plays this at some point...it gets pretty intense. lol Christian stayed the night last night and was excited to spend the evening with me after everyone went to bed. Sadly little man got sick and ended up sleeping on the couch....UNTIL he busted through my door at 2am giving me a heart attack. The massive wind scared him...so he decided instead of walking through the hallway to Mamaw's Papa's room he'd rather truck down the stairs and sleep with Aunt Nana. After tucking him and calming down he told me he loved me and was happy I let him in. haha I suppose that was worth the heart attack ;). Was woken up early this morning by my mom...had some cousins from out of town that dropped by to say hello. Haven't seen them in years and though I just had woken up I was excited to see them all. With some catching up and some good laughs they were off before lunch, and I had to get ready for the day. Though that was difficult with some sick babies who wanted to be held. Once they were calm left mom to get ready and was off into town to get my hair done....SO happy that I FINALLY got to do so....its been far to long. Ran by ranchin home and got some pellets for the stove. I gotta tell ya though, walking in a young girl with her hair all 'did' I got some looks. I was thinking...HEY NOW I have my plaid cowgirl shirt on leave me alone! haha Was finally home sat down...thought to my self 10 minutes thats all I need...Ended up falling asleep for an hour, only thing that woke me up was some serious kids screaming from down below. Helped til the end of the day ran by a purse party with my mom, where she got some new covers for her purse....shhhh don't tell my dad. Then off to a family friends house (basically family) and then FINALLY home again...where we sat for a couple of hours with my dad chatting and watching some much needed catching up TV. There has been a lot going on and still have a lot to do tomorrow. Goodness. Can't wait though a great weekend is coming my way and I an super excited about all that is going to happen.

Until Next time

*Dinner Date*

Well another productive day today. Pretty sure the kids took a hyper pill or something because were they rowdy today! My goodness. I was happy that the day ended, but a hard days work is always worth it when the kids run back inside to tell you bye with a hug and kiss =). I do love these kids, but boy am I praying for a good day tomorrow! haha

I went out tonight with one of my Best Friends and it was so great catching up with just the two of us. I have missed her like mad so dinner was the perfect end to the day. We walked into Red Robin as busy as it was and got a table right away...haha pretty sure there were some not so happy people there, what can we say? It was just the two of us compared to groups of four or more....of course we are going it get seats first. It has been awhile so we had a lot of catching up to do and it was so great to do so. Excited that her and her husband will be joining for the awesome concert this Sunday =))....which I am soooo super excited about. Good music and great friends....who honestly wouldn't be excited?!?! All and all today was a great day and it was for surely fun catching up with Kambra...it made my day! =)

*Mac Laugh*

What another full day here in the daycare. Woke up and jumped into helping my mom round up the kids and helping them clean up. Wasn't long after we were cooking lunch...today's menu...Hot dogs, Hash brown patties, and Noodles...a favorite of theirs for sure! Its always a interesting tango with the oven and babies running through...trust me we make sure they are away, but boy does that oven shut quick when I child decides they want to run through the kitchen when you are opening it....and OF COURSE that would be the only time they decided they want to do so. Spent majority after naps outside. I was entertained with the children and their new found love for shooting baskets from all sides, and all lengths. I have to say being outside with 12 plus kids is a lot easier than being inside with them! The kids and I enjoyed Popsicles before heading inside, gotta say love the fact the weather is good enough for just that. Though I enjoy the time with the kids so much, I have to say the highlight of my day was FOR SURELY the time Paul and I spent taking pictures on his new mac. I don't think I've laughed that hard with my brother in a while and goodness was it fun, we were LITERALLY in tears. Though I've done this so many times it seems never to get old. After a taking a few with each other we had to show dad. When taking it into him and showing him he of course died laughing as well. That was a whole other hoot with him. It was like we never had taken picture like this before or something. I love the fact that my family can sit there and take crazy pictures over and over again and laugh their butts off like its the funniest thing they have ever seen in their lives. I literally was falling to the ground. After Paul and I settled down we realized all the hard core laughing caused us to be hungry. So it was off for a late night run to pizza hut....can you say yum?!?!? It was a great day for sure...and with random chuckles from either Paul or I it makes the end of this night even better. Thank you Jesus for laughter...it is the best!

Goodnight all

*Spring Break*

The long awaited Spring break has finally arrived! I won't lie, I was super excited when I took that las final, loaded in my car, and headed off to my wonderful home! Its been a busy few days

so far and I have enjoyed them all! I kicked off my spring break with helping my church clean up a neighborhood here in our town. It may have been early, but the 200 plus people from out church were excited and eagered to work and help out a community in need. There were many projects going on, from painting house, restoring playgrounds and community centers, and everything in between. I spent most of my day with my cousins, picking up piles and piles of leaves. You'd think that spending hours doing this you'd get tired of it and want to stop, but not when you are singing, dancing, and laughing the whole time you are doing so. We also spent a lot of time with our adopted family painting and cleaning up the park, good laughs were of course apart of this as well. It may have taken some time, but the people that lived in the neighborhood soon came out to talk and just hang out with us who were working in their neighborhood; some helped, and others just talked, but it didn't matter what they were doing the interaction was what we wanted most and it was great. I loved seeing people from my church just loving and blessing people just as God has called us to do. Though we were all so tired by the end of the day, we had so much fun working.

I'll be helping my mom with daycare during my week of spring break. The kids I'll be watching and helping taking care of I love so much. Many of them have been apart of the daycare since they were babies, and are now in school or walking and talking. Its like having 20 extra neices and nephews =). Today they woke me up by banging on my door and screaming LLEEEEEENANAAAAAA over and over again until I busted the door open and scared them half to death....can't say I didn't laugh because I did. Who wouldn't want to be woken up by some exited kids? I loved the fact that they were just excited to see me as I was them. They asked me about 20 times when I'll be done with schoo and if I had to go back though. They were happy to hear I'd be back to spend along time with them in the summer. Today I got to spend some one on one time with my nephew. He kept me entertained at the grocery store as I did some much need shopping for my house. With stories that 'Came from his head," and being a break for the cart there was never a quite moment. If I know one this its 6 year olds come up with the funniest stories and ideas. With no nap and a busy day, I can imagine he will be knocked out before his head hits the pillow. It was a fun first day with the daycare, and the adventure will continue tomorrow with them.

Until next time
